The Texas Substance Use Symposium (TxSUS) and its collaborators adhere to strict guidelines in relation to commercial independence for all continuing education programs and events. In an effort to ensure attendees view the program as clear of potential or perceived bias, TxSUS and its collaborators have decided not to allow pharmaceutical companies, distributors, biomedical, and healthcare-related device manufacturers to serve as Sponsors of the symposium. However, these entities may take part in exhibiting for a fee.
